Registration Is Open for the Sanford Citizens' Academy

The City of Sanford is now registering for the second Sanford Citizens' Academy, an 11-week interactive program designed to give you an inside look at your city government.

When: Mondays from July 20 through October 5, 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Graduation will be on Tuesday, October 20.

Where: Municipal buildings and grounds.

Cost: Completely free!

We’ll  tour the Water Treatment Plant, Wastewater Treatment Plant, Sanford Municipal Golf Course, municipal parks, and more. A light dinner will be served at the beginning of each session.

The deadline to apply is July 15 and space is limited to 10 participants. Download the application form here.
